had to show you this. I thought this was so cute, my Grand-Son would look darling in them I'm sure.
Just Ducky Socks
Froggy Socks
I'm on the hunt for more socks you can do on two needles, I used 4 needles before.. and loved making mittens etc. But this fine wool with the fine needles I have to work with just drives me crazy when they fall out of the stitches.
If you know of any links of free two needle sock patterns, for Babies.. please send them my way. Yes, I'm going to make them for my Grand-Son and Grand-Daughters now, I've had enough of spending days on a sock just to have it... (more)

Well as I said I started to 'try' to make a sock with two needles. Today I GIVE UP!
My Grand-Daughter '9 years old' just took my stitches off my needle.. I got so frustrated with the small wool to see the stitches.. I finally just threw it and gave up. So forget that.
Now I'm on the hunt for another project!

KNITTING:
I've been Knitting every now and then since I taught myself how from Mary Maxim Patterns back around the 1980's, my first projects where sweaters and them old jackets you seen back then with the dogs/cats on the back.. I made these for my kids when they were small.
------------
Lately, I am now trying to Knit my very first pair of socks, this is done on two needles, I tried the four needles before.. but the wool is so thin and the needles so small that they kept falling off.. I really lost patience with it.
I then found a pattern in someone's blog.. sorry I can't remember just... (more)

I'm quite new to this blogging thing.. but hey! everyone else is doing it, so why not me?
I really do hope I have some time for this blogging thing, I will try to keep it up each chance I get. I hope to in time place pictures and patterns on here about my latest crafts.
About a month ago, my youngest DD bought me a huge bag of yarn from the Salvation Army, so needless to say I've been crocheting and Knitting up a storm with all that wool. I should take a picture of the bag and show it here.

For now I'd like to post a picture "once I figure out how LOL" of my newest Grand-Son Born... (more)
